Watersheds are described as nature’s boundaries which define an area of land which drains water into a marsh, stream, river, lake, or groundwater and are not limited by political boundaries. Watersheds supply drinking water, provide recreational opportunities, and sustain life and ecological health; therefore, a watershed approach is the most effective framework to address water resource challenges.
